Building Permissions

One main dwelling has been allocated to a new shareholder.

This main dwelling formally does not have any size restrictions, however, our Building Guidelines dictates a reasonable size restriction for aesthetic reasons. All development will have to adhere to the reasonable Farm Development Guidelines and read in conjunction with National Building Regulations and Municipal Bylaws.

These are detailed in our company documents and SHA.

Building permissions, applications and costs incurred will be the owners' own responsibility and will have to run through the municipal admissions process.

Building Guidelines & Design Ethos

The primary objective of our Design Ethos & Building Guidelines is to ensure a respectful architectural approach to this stunning site & sensitive fynbos biome while adding value to the land as a whole.

The Guidelines furthermore promote; the use of Eco-friendly building materials, soft building footprints, topography of the site as part of the primary design component, optimizations of natural energy sources, considered water & waste management and sensible passive design.

Architecture of merit is hugely encouraged as long as it does not impose itself on the environment, nor infringe on the privacy and views of the other shareholders.
